Looking for an addictive, yet simple and fun flash game? Jumping Long delivers on all three of those fronts. As an inexperienced long jumper, your objective in this game is to set and beat long jumping records. Equipped with an above average mohawk and legs that would appear to small for a long jumper to draw any power from, you seek the records with the vigor of an Olympic athlete.

The controls of the game are extremely simple, but the simplicity adds to the joy of the game. You have one control, the space bar or the left click on a mouse is your only weapon (unless you reset the level, in which case you need the key R as a second stroke). Players hold the space bar down to gauge speed for the run and again use it to determine the angle at which the jumper will jump.

In addition to this, the player acquires money for each jump. The more successful the jump, the more money that the player will receive. This money may be used to purchase upgrades for your jumper. These upgrades include increasing your jumper's maximum running speed, allowing the player to get more distance in the jump. The second upgrade is increasing jump distance, which when used in companion with the increase in running speed will create a better jump. The third is slowing down the speed meter by a certain amount each upgrade, allowing for a more accurate choice of how fast your jumper runs. The final upgrade is slowing down the angle meter, allowing for an easier opportunity to chose at which angle your jumper will take off from, creating an optimal jump.

The game is simplistic, yet unbelievably enjoyable. It gets better with more upgrades because you have more dimensions that allow you to create your ideal jumping experience. If you need a quick break from work or school or simply need a new game to play, you would be missing out if you didn't chose Jumping Long.

As always, enjoy!
