The Ultimate Quiz game is made by A10.com and can be played on SilverGames. The game is a trivia type game where the player is shown pictures of various items in different categories and given four choices to guess the correct one. While you are guessing you are being timed. The faster you give the correct answer the more stars you earn. Stars are used to unlock higher levels of the quiz. The fastest answers earn three stars.

At the end of each section of 10 questions is a spin of the "Fortune Wheel" from the wheel the player can earn stars, extra lives and time bonuses. If you earn three stars on each of the ten questions you get a bonus spin on the wheel.

The game features 5 categories, they are Cars, Cartoon Shows, Animals, Celebrities and Logos. The Cars and Logos categories are very similar with the symbols of cars being in the former and corporations in the latter. Many of the pictures shown should be pretty well known to most American and European players.

As the player unlocks higher levels the questions don't seem to get much harder but the time you get to answer them and earn three stars gets shorter and shorter. The shortened time forces you into some bad choices if you aren't immediately sure who or what the picture is.

I liked that when you answered a question correctly in most cases you are given more information about the subject, for instance when I correctly guessed the Ferrari logo I was given a small bio of the company and their origin.

One thing I could see being a bit annoying is if the player doesn't earn enough stars to gain higher levels they are forced to repeat levels with the same pictures to earn more stars. I think at higher levels this would get rather annoying.

Overall I enjoyed this game, it was easy to play and didn't involve any long instructions, very straightforward game play. The game loaded quickly on my phone and I didn't notice any lag or programming problems.

Are you ready to take the Ultimate Quiz? Good luck!!

The puzzle game Burn Everything is an addictive example of how simplicity done well can be very entertaining. Starting a fire by dragging a match underneath something flammable, players then stack the kindling so embers ignite all parts of everything burnable. Clean, well programmed, and just difficult enough this game can provide hours of fun for puzzle lovers without hair pulling frustration. After all twenty levels of “Burning Everything” I have to forewarn that once you set out to ignite the entire game it seems it will take a stronger person than myself not too. This game is easily as entertaining as any of the well-known games about disgruntled avian bombs that players launch at pig villages. Burn Everything seems to be a perfect fit for those of us who have mild love affair with the thought of fire but have the wits to avoid it. This is an experience anyone can enjoy with a quick and easy learning curve. This game could function as a fun, learning tool for students, at home next to Oregon Trail. Having to succeedbur at burning a minimum eighty percent of all the possible kindling per level to advance gives all players the ability to move past the levels that are giving them a hard time. The one hundred percent mark allows for more advanced players to have a goal worth trying multiple times to obtain. Variables such as stones that block embers and wind that makes embers float to the right give the game subtle changes in strategy that are easily processed due to the simple control layout and wonderfully functioning controls. Click, drag, drop and burn your path to victory. Being free to play this game possesses the power to turn your entire lunch break into a relieving moment where you were the master of fire without having you second-guessing any frivolous spending. Mad Hamster Games and Max Games have collaborated to bring players of all ages a true home run.

pop-pop-rush.gif

Game on gamers! You can play the free game Pop Pop Rush on your mobile device or on the computer. It can be addictive because you want to try to get as many balloons popped as possible. The goal of the game by FGL Indie Showcase is to get the highest points possible in the time allowed. Points are earned by popping balloons of the same color that are in a line. Balloons must be at least three in a row in order to pop them. All you have to do is drag your finger over the balloons if playing on a mobile device. The sounds of the game are fun and make you want to play even more.

A tip is given for the game before each level. One of the tips might be to swipe three or more colors in a line to pop them. The line doesn’t have to be straight as long as the balloons are the same color. You are given 60 seconds to complete the level. Your points are recorded at the top of the screen so that you can easily keep track of them. There are other balloons in each level that will help you through the game. One of the balloons is a rainbow. This can be used if you only have two balloons of the same color. The rainbow balloon will act as the same color so that there are enough to pop. When the level is over, your information on the level is displayed. The number of balloons popped and the longest chain are revealed. You can then play another level to try to beat your score. The best way to get as many points as possible is to use a bomb. This will clear several balloons within a small area.

sliding-puzzle.jpg

Sliding Puzzle is a puzzle game of skill. It consists of 8 squares which are numbered 1 - 8 and one blank space. Each number is placed inside a square and randomly placed. There are three rows of numbers and 3 columns of numbers. The setup is similar to a tic-tac-toe grid. The object of this puzzle game is to move the numbers around until they are in numerical order, 1-3 in the top row, 4-6 in the middle row, 7 and 8 in the bottom row.

You do this by moving each square. The tricky part of the game is that you are only allowed to move each number one space at a time depending on where the blank space is. Sometimes you might have a number in place where it belongs, but you wind up having to move it because another number you need can not move until the other number is moved out of the way. You might remember playing this type of a puzzle as a child when you were little.

starlight.jpgThe game "Starlight" can be played on three levels easy, medium or pro. The object of the game is to see a picture in the stars. The mouse is the only tool needed for this game. The game requires an open and vivid imagination!

The easy level allows the user to spend time moving the mouse all around to get see a picture in the stars. Playing the medium level means the user must try and get through each vision as quickly as possible. The pro level allows for a specific time to see the picture within the stars. Points are awarded for every level completed. More points give you more time on the pro level. There is a show solution button for those you just cannot seem to get. Using the show solution will cost you point. Once the picture is seen at the right point, the level is automatically passed.

The Starlight game is very sensitive to any mouse movements. The mouse should be rotated slowly in order for a user to see as much as possible. Brighter stars within the picture are a good point to begin with. These are important stars in the total picture and can help direct the angle the stars should be viewed at.
